MEET OUR CREATIVE TEAM

Emily Hoffert (director, producer)

  is a senior directing major and philosophy minor. Fordham Mainstage: Men on Boats (AD/dramaturg). Select Fordham Studio: Small Mouth Sounds (AD/dramaturg), The Moon and the Wolf (Moon/AD/dramaturg), El desvarío (AD/PSM), Delirium (AD/dramaturg), Up, Up, and Away! (ASD), Erotophobia (ACD), The Dybbuk (ALD). Independent/Regional: WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING FROM? (director/choreographer/writer), The Scratch (PSM). Infinite gratitude for every single member of this giant crazy team! JuJu, Scott, Julia — thank you for keeping me sane and loving this play with every piece of your hearts. Katie Heaton — thank you for your bravery and your patience. To the cast — you are superhumans. To my parents — everything you have done to allow this show to happen has been the greatest gift to me. JuJu Jaworski (Assistant Director, Dramaturg, Intimacy Director)

 is a sophomore directing major, pursuing a double major in Digital Technology and Emerging Media. Her Fordham Studio Show credits include: Enterprise (Assistant Director), The Nether Project (Props Master and Assistant Sound Designer), The Wallpaper Project (Editor). Select Outside Credit: “Yeah…” Cabaret (Director, Writer, and Producer). She cannot express in words how grateful she is for this Hand To God team. This show has been the light of her days. Special thanks to Emily for being the best mentor (and big sister) around. Also, to the production team of Julia, Scott, and Nora, for providing immense insight and support. Katie Curran (Production Manager)

Mainstage: Continuity (PSM), Water by the Spoonful (ASM), Men on Boats (Asst. Sound).  Studio: Virginia/Poe (PSM), Cloud Tectonics (SM), God of Carnage (ASM). Regional: Refugee at Merrimack Repertory Theatre Workshop (ASM). Other: NYC Free at Little Island (SM PA), Oso Fabuloso and The Bear Backs at INTAR Theatre (ASM). Thank you to this team for all their hard work. As always, much love to Janae. 

Julia Walker (Production Stage Manager)

 is a sophomore stage manager who is continuing her experience at Fordham University. Mainstage: Water by the Spoonful (OBS Operator) Studio: Accidental Murder Mystery (Co-Costume Designer), Halo Halo (Set/Production Designer), Nether (SM and Co-Costume Designer), Kiernan’s Untitled Project (Assistant Sound Designer), Valor, Agravio y Mujer (ASM), Into Me See (ASM and Costume Designer), Enterprise (Costume Designer). Other: Yes I Am A Freshman Theater Major (In a Pandemic) (ASM), The Girls (ASM) Thank you to Scott and Nora for being the best team that I could ever ask for. Juju for being the person who brings light into the room and is the best around. Emily for letting me be a part of your dream. Scott Yezzi (Stage Manager)

is a sophomore at Fordham University focusing on stage management and music direction. Mainstage: Everybody (Assistant OBS Designer). Studio: Nineveh (Assistant Stage Manager/Assistant Producer),  A Butterfly Dreams (Assistant Stage Manager), Halo Halo (Assistant Set/Production Designer). Other: All the Answers (PSM), Yes I Am A Freshman Theater Major (In a Pandemic) (PSM/Music Director), The Murder at Ramsbottom Manor (PSM), Spamalot (Fred/Dance Captain). Huge thanks to Julia, Emily, JuJu, and Nora for being such an amazing team to work with, as well as the entire cast and design team <3. 

Nora Willson (Assistant Stage Manager)

 is a freshman Stage Manager from Connecticut who is continuing her education at Fordham University. Nora is so excited that Hand to God, such a thought-provoking and complex show, is her first ever experience at Fordham Theatre. She would like to thank everyone on the cast and production team for being so wonderful during this whole process. She would also like to give a special shout-out to Scott and Julia, who have taught her so much. 

Brett Radke (Vocal Consultant)

(he/him) is an actor and educator based in New York City. Select NYC acting credits include The Comedy of Errors (Classic Stage Company) A Dollzes House (Signature), and Everyday Afroplay (The Bushwick Starr). Other credits include Armature (Cleveland Public Theatre), The Pitmen Painters (The Beck Center for the Arts), and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Performance Network). Brett has performed internationally in Greece and Ukraine, and apprenticed with Jeff Daniels’ acclaimed Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, Michigan. Brett is currently on faculty at Fordham University, Marymount Manhattan College, and The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts where he teaches Voice and Speech. Brett is a Certified Teacher in The Michael Chekhov Technique through The Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium and is on the path to becoming a Designated Linklater Teacher. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Columbia University and is a member of AEA, VASTA, ATHE, and The National Alliance of Acting Teachers.

Zoë Lishinsky (Intimacy Direction Associate)

is a senior Theater Performance major at Fordham University. She is honored to be a first time intimacy consultant for this show, as well as a first time intimacy director for The Pillowman (opening November 10th at Fordham). Her technical credits include Wardrobe Head for Airline Highway, Asst. Costume Designer for Dimes, and Costume Crew for Mr. Burns. Her acting and film credits include Isabel in scene selections from Will Arbery’s Plano for Fordham Theatre’s Introduction to Directing, Abigail in Scars, Ms. Siena in Electricity, Annie in The Clockmaker, and Star/Mother in Conversations with Stars. Zoë would like to thank JuJu and Emily, for being open and trusting with her work. She would also like to honor Sarah Lozoff, for inspiring her to pursue a career as an intimacy director.

Amara McNeil (Lighting Designer)

is a junior lighting designer in the Fordham Theater Design and Production Program and an aspiring cinematographer.  She is a member of Design Action and is an American Theater Wing University / Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship recipient. (2018 /2019). Credits include Fordham: Homesick (Lead Light. Artist), The Nether (Dir. of Photography), Enterprise (Asst. Dir. of Cinematography), My Papier Mache Monster (LD), COINCOIN (LD); Regional: The High Priestess (LD/Asst. Camera), Pippin (LD), A Christmas Carol (LD); Film: Soaring MV (Gaffer), 2 Lonely Girls (LD), A Thousand and One (Art Dept. PA), As You Like It (ALD)

Lee Lillis (Assistant Lighting Designer)

 is a Sophomore theatre design major concentrating in lighting design. Mainstage: Uncle Vanya (Dramaturg), Everybody (Sound Board Operator). Studio:  Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom (Lighting Designer), The Nether (Assistant Dir. of Photography), A Butterfly Dreams (Assistant Lighting Designer), Valor, Agravio, y Mujer (Costume Designer), Louisiana Garbage Kings (ARG researcher). Special thank you to Amara for being the best mentor and teacher one could ask for!

Will Rossiter (Projection Designer, Associate PM)

 Mainstage: Water by the Spoonful (ALD), Airline Highway (Lightboard op).  Studio: Virginia/Poe (Video operator), Into Me See (LD), Enterprise (Props Manager), Madeline May Saves the World (LD), Moon and Wolf (Assoc. LD), Up, Up, and Away (ALD).  Other: The Girls (LD), Only Time (ALD).  Thank you to everyone who helped make this show a reality!

Sabina Ali (Sound Designer)

 is a sophomore sound designer at Fordham: Mainstage: Water by the Spoonful (Assistant Sound Designer), Everybody (Assistant Sound Designer), Continuity (Assistant Sound Designer). Studio: The Science Project (Sound Designer), Homesick (Sound Designer). Much love and gratitude to Emily for believing in me throughout this process! So thankful to be a part of this project.

Olive Fox (Assistant Sound Designer)

is a sophomore on the design and production track with a concentration in stage management and an Electronics Shop workstudy. Studio: B.R.E.A.D. PSM), Small Mouth Sounds (SM), The Most Massive Woman Wins (SM). She would like to thank Sabina, Emily, Julia, and the whole cast and crew.

Katie Heaton (Scenic Designer)

 is a freshman on the set design track. She is so happy to be able to work with such talented people on an amazing show. Raquel would like to thank everyone for welcoming her with open arms. 

Sloan Mulloy (Costume Designer)

 is originally hails from Laurel, Mississippi and is currently a sophomore majoring in Art History. She is so excited to be apart of the Hand to God team as the costume designer and have previously costume designed for Valor, Agravio, y Mujer as and The Nether. So much love to our amazing director Emily, thank you for letting me be apart of your vision. And so so much love to this incredible cast and crew; I’m beyond thankful to work with such talented people!

Amy Orner (Associate Costume Designer)

is a first year theatre design major on the costume track. She is super excited for Hand to God and could have asked for a better team to work on her first Fordham show with, they have truly made this a great experience. Amy would like to thank Sloan for all her hard work and showing her the ropes of costume design and the entire cast and crew for constantly blowing her away with their talent and dedication. Enjoy the show!

Haley Crawford (Props and Puppetry Designer)

is a sophomore scenic designer. Mainstage: Continuity (assistant scenic designer), Men on Boats (sound board operator). Studio: Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom (Scenic Designer), The Nether (Associate Scenic Designer), Enterprise (Dramaturg). Thank you Harry, Peter, and Abigail for your help, I couldn’t have asked for a better team! And thank you to Emily for bringing me on and trusting me to create a character. Enjoy the show!

Harry Cooper (Associate Puppet Designer)

 This is Harry's first time working on prop construction for a show at Fordham Theatre, and wouldn't have it be any other show. Bringing skills from working costume construction on Fordham Theatre's Everybody, and set construction on Fordham Studios CoinCoin, he hopes to make the puppets up to the scale of the wonderful work everyone is doing. 

Peter Chan (Associate Props Designer)

 is a second-year on the Design and Production track. Mainstage: “Water by the Spoonful” (Sound Board Operator) Studio Season: “We Are Proud” (ASM), “Ninevah” (Props), “Neighborhood 3” (Designer), “Hand to God” (Props and Puppetry), “Homesick” (Designer). Regional: San Francisco Playhouse Theatre Company (Production Management Intern), Truffle Shuffle Media Company: (Production Assistant). In his free time, Peter enjoys thrifting, photography, and baking (if they taste good is a different question). Shoutout to the cast + crew and family for always giving their continuous support <3.

Abigail Lo (Assistant Puppetry and Props Designer, House Manager)

 is a junior double majoring in Theatre Performance and Humanitarian Studies. Mainstage: Water by the Spoonful (Props Master), Men on Boats (Props Master). Select studio: The Moon & The Wolf (Wolf), A Butterfly Dreams… (Actress/Woman), Louisiana Garbage Kings (Magda/Dagny), Halo Halo (Choreographer), Small Mouth Sounds (Asst. Scenic Design). They’d like to thank Emily for being their #1 fan from the very start, the puppetry team for putting up with their complete lack of sewing skills, and everyone on the team for bringing their whole selves to a process that’s been nothing short of incredible.
